
Hong Kong International Airport Consultancy Limited (HKIA Consultancy) participated in Super Terminal Expo (STE) 2025 on 4-6 November 2025 at AsiaWorld-Expo.
HKIA Consultancy was one of the strategic partners for the event, alongside the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy (HKIAA), the International Cooperation and Service Center (ICSCC) of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), Aviation Week Network, and Global Airport Development (GAD). During the event, HKIA Consultancy actively engaged with numerous aviation industry stakeholders across various conference streams and the exhibition.
Organised by Informa Markets, STE 2025 was also supported by the Belt and Road Office of the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau and the Working Group on Developing Low-altitude Economy of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People’s Republic of China.
A highlight of HKIA Consultancy’s participation was the co-organization of the Air Silk Road Forum with HKIAA. During the Forum, prestigious speakers were invited to present and reflect on the different aspects of the Air Silk Road as defined by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, including its role in the collective Belt and Road Initiative and civil aviation development.

Hong Kong International Airport Consultancy Limited (HKIA Consultancy) and Beijing Urban Construction Group (BUCG) today signed cooperation agreements in connection with three airport development projects in Ethiopia, Indonesia and Kenya respectively.
The agreements were signed during the 28th Beijing-Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Symposium by Simon Li, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HKIA Consultancy and Li Weidong, Chairman of BUCG. Distinguished guests attending the symposium included John Lee, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; Frederick Ma, Chairman of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council; Yin Yong, Mayor of Beijing; and Vivian Cheung, Chief Executive Officer of Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK).
This partnership between HKIA Consultancy and BUCG will further advance the development of aviation hubs along the Belt and Road regions by leveraging Hong Kong International Airport’s experience and expertise in airport management and operations. HKIA Consultancy was established by AAHK.

HKIA Consultancy Limited (HKIA Consultancy) and U-Tapao International Aviation Company Limited (UTA) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding collaboration on the U-Tapao International Airport and Eastern Airport City Development Project near Bangkok. Under the MoU’s framework, HKIA Consultancy will advise UTA on matters related to airport planning, operations, smart technology and commercial development.
During a visit to Thailand led by the Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region last November, Jack So, Chairman of Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) met the BTS Group and started the dialogue on cooperation. Mr So invited the BTS Group to visit HKIA last December to follow up on the discussion which led to the signing of the MoU.
Witnessed by Mr So and Keeree Kanjanapas, Executive Chairman of UTA, the MoU was signed by Simon Li, Project Director of HKIA Consultancy, Kavin Kanjanapas, Director of UTA and Pradit Theekakul, Director of UTA in Bangkok.
Mr So said, “It is our honour to be involved in this important project in Thailand by sharing our experience and expertise in airport management and commercial developments.”
Mr. Keeree Kanjanapas, said, “The cooperation with Hong Kong International Airport is part of the U-Tapao International Airport development plan to become a standardised and quality airport, according to international principles. This will be achieved by Hong Kong airport’s sharing of knowledge and experience in management and technology with UTA, as well as serving as a consultant for various projects which operate under the MoU agreement, so that UTA can develop U-Tapao International Airport for sustainable growth.”
